Oh, well. Another CoHo book which has left me with mixed feelings. But at least I enjoyed the story, if not loved it. I loved the writing style in this book, it was very easy to read and onced I started it, I couldn't put it down without finishing it. The book is not very long so it took me only few hours to finish it.

I really loved the scenes between Carter and Sloan. I always like those cute banters between the characters in CoHo's book. The characters in this book were very complex and I couldn't even decide whether to hate them or sympathize with them. Then there is the tragic past of the characters which helps me understand them more, but that too didn't justify the things they did. Even though this whole love-triangle was too complex and disturbing to like it, I liked the way it ended.

One. Yeah, I know. I was in huge reading slump for the past few weeks, so finishing this one book was also a huge accomplishment for me haha. The book I read is Dark Matter by Blake Crouch, and to be honest, it’s one of the best Sci-Fi books I’ve read in a very long time. The story is complex, terrifying, gripping, and all in all, an amazing book wish brillian Sci-Fi plot! Here’s my review of it: Dark Matter by Blake Crouch

Book buying ban:

: I am sure none of us love to do this thing, and I’ve tried to go on a book buying ban twice in past and have always failed. Because basically, I am like this:

The last book I bought is Heartless, which still hasn’t arrived *sigh* but I am planning to not buy books for about at least a month. 

Review: Dark Matter by Blake Crouch

This is one of those books which mess up with your mind. Not just once, throughout the story, and in the creepiest way. This is also one of the weirdest books I've read, I mean it's not often you get to read a sci-fi book with such enthralling and gripping plot, and which explores the idea of multiverse. How cool is that? But while the idea does sound appealing, this story shows a dark side of it. And it's terrifying, to be honest.

The beginning seemed like it was taken out of some horror movie: Jason, the main character, gets abducted by a stranger and wakes up in a strange place, where people knows who he is, but he has got no idea who these people are, or what he's doing here. People also mistakes him for the person he isn't, which also makes him doubt his earlier life: was that life a dream? Or is this a dream he's having which feels like a reality? He doesn't know what's real: the thing he's experiencing right now which is strangely similar to his life, but still totally different, or the memories he have of his past. At one point, even I started to think that he was dreaming one of these thing. But how wrong was I!

Review: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

How do you even write a review of Harry Potter when you're one of the very few people in this muggle world who is reading it for the first time and just want to fangirl about it?! I have no idea why I waited so long to start this series, but I am going to rectify that and finish rest of the books this year! Also, I might be the only person who haven't been spoiled for this series. Which also includes movie because I've only watched first two :P So basically I am reading HP series for the first time.

I am obviously not going to write about what I loved in this book. Because, well, then I'll have to mention every scene of this book because it was that amazing! Instead, I am going to write about what I'll remember this series by.

Review: November 9 by Colleen Hoover

Okay, so I'll start my review by saying that Colleen Hoover is one of my favorite authors and she'll always be.But that doesn't mean that I have to like all of her books. The first book I read by her was Hopeless, and after that I remember reading all of her released novels back to back so you can probable imagine how much I love reading her books. Although I didn't like this book, I am pretty sure that I will read anything by this woman in future!

What I love in her books is the characters she create;you can instantly connect to them,but not in this book. And that's what made me give this book 2 stars. Colleen Hoover's books are very emotional, and this was another book filled with a lot angst and heartbreaks, but because I couldn't connect with either characters, despite the book having dual POV, this book didn't work for me.

You guys might be wondering what I am up to, with this weird title which hardly make sense? Well, I’ve been thinking about how much we book nerds read in a day, and when you think about it, we unknowingly ( or knowingly) start implying them in real life. And I’m not talking about inspirational book, no. I am talking about how reading books have changed our choices and tastes.
So I’m going to share how reading books have influenced my life.

#1 Shopping:
Okay, so first thing that comes in my mind when I am being told to spend money? You guessed it: I would go straight off to a bookstore rather than getting clothes or other such things( what happened to basic necessities? We would never know) . And that’s not it. These days, my Mugs, Carry bags, etc are inspired by books.

Yeah, I’d rather look like a complete nerd than dress up like cool people. (Even John Green agrees ;) )

Review: Say Something... by T.A. Roth

Okay, first off, I really enjoyed this book! I mean, what's not to love? It has amazing characters, super-hot romance, and a really good plot! When I started this book, I had no idea of how it would turn out, and since it's a NA romance, I was really hoping it to be a good read, and it totally was! It was a really quick read, I finished it in only 2 days because I just couldn't put it down!

Review: More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera

No, I won't.
Nothing could have prepared me for this intense and emotional story. I don't know why but I expected it to be a light read despite of the fact that everything about this book says that it's a sad story. Except for the title, which misleading because this book is more SAD than HAPPY! I started reading the book at midnight and finished it at early morning, and it's needless that I was crying my eyes out at the end. This has to be the most sad story I've read this year. My rating would have been different if I had wrote the review just after finishing the book;I might have rated more, but now that I think about it, my is rating around 3.5 stars but rounding off to 4 only because of the unique plot and the writing. I loved Adam Silvera's writing and his way of storytelling and I am looking forward to read more books by him.

The book started at a slow pace, and it wasn't until after the first half that I realized why there is so much hype about the book and why everyone loves it so much. The story is unlike anything I've read, I love how unique and different the concept is. And even though it is also shelved as sci-fi which is also the main reason for some very shocking plot twists, it seemed more contemporary to me.
